Competitive and entertaining gameplay is what dot io games are about and Gotia.io is no different from the other titles in this aspect of the genre. The core of the game is a big open level filled with pellets for you to collect to grow bigger so that you can defeat stronger players. As the player, your objective is to become the most successful survivor on the arena by defeating other players as you avoid their attacks. In the arena, you can collect two different power-ups for your character. The first one is the shield, which provides protection from the deadly strikes of your enemy when you engage in a heated duel. The other power-up is a mount, which will allow you to move through the level with ease with its added speed buff. Keep in mind that these power-ups will not stay with you indefinitely as they can only remain active for a limited time. You don’t have to worry, though. You can find these power-ups scattered around the map so they are easy to find and collect. When you face an enemy, you can attack them with the use of the left mouse button or the space bar. A defeated enemy will turn into pellets that you can collect, and these will earn you more points than the regular pellets you see on the map. At the bottom side of each character, you can see how long they’ve been alive. Plan your attacks accordingly because, usually, the players who have survived longest are the strongest.
